Spreadsheets

Spreadsheets are used to organize data, perform calculations, and create charts.

Some important terms of spread sheets are:

rows/columns -	together they create a grid
cell -	the intersection rows and columns, can contain numbers, and words.
chart -	Displays information
worksheets	a collection of cells
workbooks	a collection of worksheets

Some examples of spreadsheet programs are: Microsoft Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, and Quattro Pro.
